What the?

What the? I just found one of the most hilarious CraigsList postings! Check this out:

I SPECIALIZE IN MAKING INEXPENSIVE, CHEAP LOOKING WEBSITES.

WHAT DOES YOUR WEBSITE SAY ABOUT YOUR COMPANY? IF IT SAYS YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL, PEOPLE MAY WANT A DISCOUNT.

MY WEBSITE WILL HAVE PEOPLE THINKING YOU ARE BROKE. BROKE AS A JOKE, I LIKE TO SAY.

THIS IS GUARANTEED TO MAKE YOUR COMPANY $$$$ (OR PESO’S SOUTH OF THE BORDER)

I CAN’T MAKE YOUR WEBSITE AT 4PM, I HAVE TO WORK. WE COULD MEET AT 6PM THOUGH.

Umm… no. If you want to sell shoelaces for a penny, then maybe. But believe me, if you want your website to rake in quality business, it can’t look like a third grader or your cousin made it.

The truth is, your website is a perceived reflection of you.

  • If your website is stylish and trendy, visitors will think your brand is on the forefront of its field.
  • If your blogs and page content are current and modern, visitors will think your website is alive and active.
  • If your website is feature rich, catering to the user experience, your visitors will be engaged and connected.
  • If your website is filled with valuable information, your visitors will see your website as a gold mine and will continue to return.

I can keep going on, but I think you catch my drift. Your website offers a perceived value of your company. In this case, visitors are judging the book (your website) by its cover. The question is, what is your website saying about your business?

We have had the grateful opportunity to work with many businesses, helping their business become an effective digital tool on the internet. Whether you need to build a new website, or just want a face lift. We can help!
