Contract first
APIs are specified and documented before they are built, so both sides can develop and test in parallel.
Validate everything
Incoming data is checked against the contract, and bad records are quarantined, not silently dropped.
Observable by default
Logs, alerts, and run history show what moved, what failed, and why.
